Polish Tank Memorial Albaneta Farm

This, converted to a memorial, Sherman tank was destroyed during heavy fighting in May 1944. The Polish troops tried to reach the monastery of Monte Cassino using this route. The monument is located just below Hill 593, behind the Polish cemetery.

There is a signed route to the hill and the memorials.
