Memorial Harold Frederick Wakeman
The Canadian pilot Harold Frederick Wakeman of 197 squadron Royal Canadian Air Force crashed with his Hawker Typhoon IB JR366 at this spot on 5 October 1944 at 1PM. Harold is buried at Veenendaal General Cemetery.
On 7 October 2019 this memorial was unveiled. A couple of relatives of Harold were attending the ceremony.
