Liberation Memorial Daugavpils

This memorial is dedicated to the men of the 360th Infantry Division who liberated the city of Daugavpils on 27 July 1944 and all other Soviet soldiers who fell for this city. The memorial contains the following inscriptions:

Central

"2536 Soviet soldiers fell at fightings for Daugavpils. Eternal glory to the heroes."

Both sides

"360th Infantry Division liberated Daugavpils on 27 July 1944.
