Monument of Vieux-Sart 1914-1918

On 5 and 6 August 1914, 65 civilians from the hamlet of Saint Hadelin were executed by the Germans. Some forty houses were also set on fire. All this out of revenge that the local fortress Fleron had made many victims in the German 11th Infantry Brigade. A Crucifix has been created as a reminder.
