Memorial 1st Regiment Hussars
This memorial is erected to commemorate the soldiers of the 1st regiment Hussars who were killed during the German attack on the Netherlands from 10 to 14 may 1940. The regiment was employed in different parts of the country during these days. Especially on 12 may the regiment had many losses as it came to an engagement near Voorthuizen with the much stronger German 227th division.
