Dutch War Graves Roman Catholic Cemetery Ulvenhout

The Roman Catholic Cemetery in Ulvenhout contains a memorial with the names of five war victims. The text on the memorial:

THIS MEMORIAL IS FOUNDED
FOR ALL FROM THE CHURCH VILLAGE
ULVENHOUT THAT MANY IN DEN
WORLD WAR AND IN INDONESIA

To the right of the memorial is a separate grave of Adrianus Machiel Heijbloem,
born 1914 in Ginneken and Bavel killed 2-5-1945 in Osnabrück.
Machiel was employed as a sergeant pilot with the 320 (Dutch) Squadron Coastal Command at airbase Dunsfold.

To the left of the memorial is a separate grave of Anthony Flanaghan, born 1922 in Tuam, Ireland killed 29-10-1944 in Ulvenhout ..
Anthony was employed as a soldier in the fourth battalion of The Lincolnshire Regt.
During the journey through Ulvenhout, he was killed by a German sniper.

Three inhabitants of Ulvenhout are buried in front of the memorial. Being:

H. van Haperen
C. van Opstal.
