Anti Aircraft Fort IV

Around Cologne there where some forts and this fort IV is still there. This Fort was build in1822 en you can find it in the volksgarten.
The forts stands in de middle of a forrest and is in reasonable state. At this moment it is used by music bands and there are ateliers and bars. In the summer there is also a beach with real beach sand.
In WO2 this fort was in use by the cologne antiaircraft force. There where sleeping barracks and telephone centrales to tell the antiaircraft sites to tell where the bombers where heading.
There where also rooms with carts of cologne to point the routing of the bombers.
There was aslo a shop and restaurant for the luftwaffe people.
