Commonwealth War Graves Yeovilton Churchyard R.N.A.S. Extension

This Churchyard Extension was acquired by the Admiralty in 1942 for burials of naval personnel stationed at the Royal Naval Air Station at Yeovilton. It adjoins the churchyard of St. Bartholomew, which was also used by this air station and contains a small group of naval war graves.

The burial place Yeovilton Churchyard R.N.A.S. Extension contains the grave of the following person, who fought for the United Kingdom and who gave his life in the war in Iraq and/or Operation Iraqi Freedom:
22 March 2003, Lieutenant Andrew S. Wilson, aged 36
