Tank holes Baarle-Nassau

In the surrounding forrests of Baarle-Nassau, the Germans dug so called tank holes to hide their tanks. These holes had a steep floor and on three sides embankments. From these holes the Germans could fairly unseen fire upon the liberators.

The tankholes are not easily to spot. Their presence is however certain.
