War Memorial Balashikha

The monument was built in 1994 by the initiative of a resident of the village of Nikolsko-Trubetskoy Ivan Zubkov, who was a veteran of Great Patriotic war, with the support of fellow villagers and the head of the village Council Yuri Mamonov. In addition to Zubkov himself, many villagers took part in the construction of the monument.
The opening of the monument took place on May 9, 1995 in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people over German national socialism.
