Museum of the Glory of the Polish Arms

Only Polish is spoken by the owner. The collection has been brought together by the now deceased father of the current owner. Due to the death of the founder of this museum, Colonel Czesław Chmielewski, the museum is no longer actively run. However, on request and in consultation with son Jerzy, it can still be viewed. See the site for more information. Admission is free.

The museum concerns the ground floor of a residence, a courtyard and a garden. At the front of the building, visible from the street, is a Russian cannon. There are five more Russian and Polish artillery, a small Russian truck and a German mortar on the country estate and in the garden. There is also a German field kitchen and a restored engine. In the house you can especially see uniforms and clothing from the period 1914 to 1990, with the emphasis on the period 1940-1945. Owner Jerzy is especially proud of a uniform from his father, Colonel Czesław Chmielewski. There are also a number of showcases with German, Polish and Russian weapons. Some foundations found in the area after the war are also exhibited.
