Soviet War Cemetery Gudendorf

This memorial is in dedicated to the Soviet prisoners of war and forced laborers who died in the camp Stalag XA Schleswig during the Second World War. There are also 5 military plots surrounding the memorial, of which 3 are symbolic. Those symbolic plots are in memory of the unknown Soviets who are buried in unmarked mass graves in the dune sand. The 2 other military plots contains the remains of 248 Soviet prisoners of war and forced laborers.
