At the entrance of the path towards the monument there is a plaque on the ground with a text that can be translated as follows:

battle for the Ardennes


This second monument commemorates the Battle of the Bulge and the civilian victims of allied bombardments during the months December 1944 and January 1945.
The monument contains the names of 192 victims.
