Memorial Second World Dessel

On September 16, 2018, a memorial and information panel was inaugurated at the Sas4 tower in Dessel.

It makes no specific mention of persons or regiments and thus aims to remind all victims of the Second World War.

The tower with its visitor center, the playground and the Paggaderpad attract thousands of visitors every year. To highlight the history of the bunkers, there is a permanent family walk that starts and ends at the memorial. In the visitor area of the tower there is a showcase with authentic objects of Belgian soldiers who served the bunkers.
