German Wargraves Linnich

245 people are buried in this war cemetery. This included 41 civilian casualties as a result of bombings on Linnich.
The first graves date from 1941 because the Franziskushaus served as a reserve lazaret for the Wehrmacht.
Most of the military victims were there because of the fierce fighting along the Roer from September 1944 to February 1945.
