Commemorative plaque affixed on the façade of the City Hall, Plaza Mayor, Valladolid,
to commemorate the First Centenary of the Dos de Mayo [1808],
the Uprising against the napoleonic occupation of Spain, having initiated the 6-year Guerra de la Independencia (1808-1814).

The plaque reads :
