Pluto pipeline
Remnants of the Pluto pipeline near the bridge in Beek en Donk. This pipeline was used in World War II to transport fuel for the Allies. The photos show that a gusset plate has been welded to the old steel pipes, this was not original but was done a few years ago during renovation work on the canal. The remains are in the Prins Hendrikstraat and the bridge ran to the Willemstraat in Beek en Donk.
