Tobruk WN 241 HL Middelharnis

Tobruk for tank dome.

Wiederstandsnest number 241 HL Baupunkt 210, also known under WN 233 L.

This tobruk was located at the end of a trench on the west side of the lock complex. The lock complex and the tram port were attacked on 9 and 14 March 1945 with Typhoon aircraft. A hundred RP-3 missiles were used for this.

The area surrounding the lock complex and the tram port contained various bunkers, including. for ammunition storage Flak setups (3.7cm), tank mines and shelters.

Various jetties in the port were equipped with explosive charges.
