Crash site of the Supermarine Spitfire FY-OB of 611 sqdn RAF (Hornchurch) from P / O Abraham Efraim (Bram) Pennings, MIA.

During an attack came very low over the airport of Vlissingen and thereby received the full layer of the 2 cm Flak, where the aircraft was hit several times. The Spitfire then made a slight turn to the right and flew over the city center to finally crash into the mouth of the Western Scheldt at 4:32 PM.
