Soviet War Cemetery 89th Rifle Division (Sevastopol)

There are about 250 Soviet soldiers and officers of the 89th Rifle Division buried here in two mass graves. They fell during the liberation of Sevastopol (9 - 12 May 1944).

Interesting is the fact that this war cemetery is standing next to another Soviet war cemetery (114th Rifle Division). Both divisions were granted to have their own sacred place.
