Memorial Victims Bombardment Geleen
Monument in memory of the victims of the bombing of Geleen.
In the evening of October 5, 1942, Geleen was accidentally bombed by RAF bombers on their way to Aachen.
There were 83 deaths and 22 seriously injured. In addition to the victims, some 3,000 people were also made homeless.
