Darwin Aviation Museum (former Australian Aviation Heritage Centre)

The 'Darwin Aviation Museum", formerly known as "Australian Aviation Heritage Museum" was instituted by a group of people who, after hurricane Trudy, decided to dedicate themselves to safehouse remains of aircraft from the vicinity. The original museum opened in 1988. Soon they managed to obtain a large Boeing B-52 bomber and decided to build a new museum around this aircraft. This Darwin Aviation Museum opened on June 2nd, 1990.

For current visiting hours, please visit the website of the museum.
