Road construction roller

On the other side of the D 130 there is a roller to build the roads around Schirmeck-La Broque. The text on the information sign shows the following:

One of the rare memories
from the SCHIRMECK-LABROQUE camp
(VORBRUCK at the time of the occupation)
which is located 12 km from here in the
valley.
This steam roller, used for road improvement,
was powered by human traction.
