Belgian War Graves Baarle-Hertog

On the Roman Catholic Churchyard in Baarle-Hertog is the grave of Maria Verhoeven. Together with Adrianus van Gestel and Gradus Gerritsen she was executed at the Galderse Heide in Breda op 10 september 1944. They were involved in several resistance activities and the hiding of allies.

In Baarle-Hertog a memorial is erected in honor of these three victims. Adrianus van Gestel en Gradus Gerritsen are buried at the Roman-Catholic churchyard in Baarle-Nassau.

Baarle-Hertog Roman Catholic Cemetery also contains several graves of residents of Baarle-Hertog who died due to war violence, begin october 1944.
