Memorial Commando No. 4
In memory of the 177 French Soldiers from Commando no. 4, under the direction of Commander Kieffer, wearing the famous "Green Beret".
Landing on 6 June 1944, they joined the paratroopers of the 6th Airborne Division in Benouville, with the objective to preserve bridges over the canal (the future Pegasus Bridge) and the Orne.
Unveiled on 6 June 2018 in the presence of veteran Léon Gautier.
