German Radar Shelter Tiger - Open Position Machinegun

Open machine gun position.

This structure on Tigerstelling is a local design. No similar is known in the Netherlands. It is one of the few objects within the theorem whose function is not clear. It may have undergone modifications over the course of the war and served several purposes. It is certain that there was a machine gun in 1943.

This bunker is part of the German radarposition Tiger from World War II. This site is now housed in a museum. More information about this museum can be found at https://bunkersterschelling.nl/
