Former Execution Range "Dolina Śmierci"
Between October and November 1939, this site was scene of the mass murder of approximately from 1200 to 1400 Poles by local Germans (Selbschutz) and the Gestapo. Among the victims were Jews and intelligentsia.
Today a memorial stands on the spot to commemorate this horrible event.
