Memorial Crew B-17 Jabbeke
On 1 December 1943 an American Boeing B-17 F "Flying Fortress" crashed on this spot. Five crew members died in this crash. The aircraft was on it's way back to England after a bomb raid to Solingen, Ruhr (G).
