Dutch War Graves Protestant Cemetery Horssen

The Protestant Cemetery in Horssen contains two Dutch War Graves, both are soldiers from the Dutch Princess Irene Brigade.
On October 7th 1944 the two men were shot by Germans when they were on patrol walking on a dike along the river Waal near Horssen.
Marius Kroon was emigrated to Argentina and was a farmhand. He has reported himself in 1944 for the Princess Irene Brigade and the liberation of the Netherlands.

The graves are located in a small field of honour with one of the Commonwealth war grave from the Second World War.

Both men are commemorated on this monument, there is a special plaque on the side on which their names and photos are.
