Polish War Graves Gebenstorf

The cemetery of Gebenstorf contains the graves of 6 Polish POW's. They were part of the 2 Dywizja Strzelców Pieszych (2e Division des Chasseurs or 2e Division d'Infanterie Polonaise), which managed to break through to Switzerland over 20–21 June 1940, during the battle of France. These six soldiers died in the Polish internment camp at Gebenstorf during the Second World War.
