KZ-Außenlager Barkhausen

From March 1944, the KZ-Außenlager Barkhausen was established in Hotel Der Kaiserhof, which belongs to KZ Neuengamme. In the beginning there were 250 prisoners who have to work on underground production halls in the Jakobsberg.
In the course of the year 1,500 prisoners were housed in the 15 x 25 meter banquet hall.
