Memorial War Victims Givry

To the right of the gate, at the entrance to the cemetery, is a memorial plaque of the "Commune de Bertogne":

"We remember the soldiers fallen in battle,
the prisoners, the civilian victims and the families
hit by the atrocities of war "

In addition, a second plaque hangs for the 4 resistance fighters who were murdered in Gives on December 23, 1944. Their bodies were only found in March 1945 and buried here in Givry.
