Memorial Combats de la Rengaine Familleureux

At this place in the Bois de Courière at Familleureux, the battle "de la Rengaine" took place on 4 September 1944 between the resistance and the retreating German troops. 7 members of the resistance were killed: SEBA Roger, DEBAUQUE Jules, GUNST Louis, CANIVER Jules, KERCKHOFS Robert, FAVAITS Nestor, ZEGERS Hubert.
