Memorial du Caillois Montroeul-au-Bois

This memorial was erected in memory of an American pilot and two Belgian resistance fighters:
Jack Hargis whose plane was downed on 17 August 1943,
Gilbert Lagneau and Gérard Dogimont who were killed in this area in fightings with the German occupier in August 1944.
