Memorial "Dalle Sacrée" Orroir

It is the collective grave of five inhabitants of Orroir who were executed by the Germans during the Second World War. They were arrested on 18 February 1944 and taken to the prison in Gent.
In retaliation for an attack on the Germans, they were executed on 14 June 1944 in Oostakker.

The victims were Alphonse BEDEUR, 47 years old; Oscar DELCOIGNE, 24 years old; Arthur LAINEZ, 35 years old; Gaston LAINEZ, 34 years old and Lucien LAINEZ, 32 years old.
