Soestdijk Royal Palace
When in May 1940 the war broke out in the Netherlands, princes Juliana and prince Bernhard fled to England from Soestdijk. The palace was occupied by German officers during the occupation years. Only in 1945, the royal family returned to Soestdijk palace.
