Here in Den Haag, two Stumbling Stones were laid on October 5, 2019 for:

GERHARD VAN STRATEN, murdered on May 3, 1942 in Sachsenhausen.

SOPHIA VAN STRATEN-DE JONG, murdered on February 26, 1943 in Auschwitz.

On June 29, 2022 two Stumbling Stones were added for:

MARIE SOPHIE VAN STRATEN, murdered on February 1, 1943 in Auschwitz.

EDUARD WILLEM VAN STRATEN, murdered on April 30,1943 in Auschwitz.

These Stumbling Stones are here for jewish war victims, deported and murdered in the Second World War.
