This monument in Elst-Utrecht has the form of a square pillar made from brick stone with a black marble stone part on top and bottom, surrounded by iron piles. It was deigned by Dick van de Laar after a first drawing form J.B. van de Laar and reveiled on April 25th, 2015.
On the monument the text 'VOOR HEN DIE VIELEN 1940 - HEDEN.' (for the fallen 1940 - present) is placed with plaques with names of fallen persons in and from Elst.
