Monument Rudneva Street

This is memorial stone of Evgeniya Rudneva on the street named after her in Saltykovka district of the city of Balashikha.

In the time of the Second World war Evgeniya Rudneva was the head navigator of 46th Night bomber regiment - so called "Night witches".

Memorial stone was erected in the late 2020. The inscription on the memorial stone says:
"The street is named after the Hero of Soviet Union, the head navigator of female night bomber regiment Evgeniya Maksimovna Rudneva, who commited 645 combat flights and died by the death of brave one on the 9th of April 1944. She lived on this street from 1929 to 1935".
