Former home Dutch Royal Family
Queen Wilhelmina lived at number 82 for £ 100 a year. The former Dutch envoy in London, jhr. R. de Marees van Swindere provided shelter to Princess Juliana, Princess Beatrix and Princess Irene at number 83.
After the departure of the Wilhelmina to Chester Square, the Binnenlandse Inlichtingendienst took over the building to screen Dutch citizens.
