Monument Dutch Domestic Forces

In the grounds of the Tolsteeg General Cemetery, there is a memorial to the Dutch Domestic Armed Forces. The occasion of this monument is the event on May 7, 1945, in which the Dutch Interior Armed Forces came into battle with the German occupier. Ten members of the NBS were killed.

The monument was unveiled on May 6, 1947, where the remains of 7 NBS'ers were reburied.

The text on the memorial reads:

THE BATTLE FOUGHT
CONFESSION OF FAITH
THE DEATH DECREASED
FOREVER
