The monument of Mikhail Guryanov on the street named after him in the district of Pechatniki. In the time of Second World war he was the leader of partisan squad. In the night of November 24 1941 his partisan squad together with other squad surrounded German staff and killed German militaries who were there. When the squad retreated, Guryanov was ambushed, wounded and captured by Germans. Three days later they hanged him on the balcony of the building in the village of Ugodski Zavod (later it was turned to the town Zhukov). He was buried there. For the courage he got the title of the Hero of Soviet Union posthumously.
