At the cemetery in Herhahn, a memorial to the fallen was erected for the displaced inhabitants of the village of Wollseifen.
The monument, an open protective building made of Luxembourg quarry stone, bears a cross made of Nideggens sandstone.
At the top of the back wall of the protective building is a relief with a view of the village of Wollseifen, including the inscription "The village of Wollseifen commemorates his dead", including three composite stone slabs.
In the left side wall a container sealed with a small door made of copper. The name Wollseifen and the year 1946 are carved on the door, as is probably a British soldier, who points the way with his outstretched arm to three people from the village. In the container a book with copper pages on it a list of the former inhabitants of Wollseifen and a dedication.
Outside the monument is the sculpture: a soldier with a rifle supports a kneeling and praying soldier.
