On a rock at the entrance to the old town, close to the Pont Romain, a white stone memorial hangs between columns to the victims of the two world wars.
"To the martyrs! To the brave! To the strong! "
Below is a relief: at the top a winged figure, with sword hilt in hand, looks down at four warring soldiers, one of which has died.
Below that hang six plates.
In the center are the victims of the First World War, in alphabetical order, a total of 105 divided over the four plates.
Far left and right are the names of the Second World War, with date of death:
"Warriors died for the homeland
1939 - 1945 "
Here a total of 26 names (combatants, deportees and civilians).
