Air Observation Tower 3T1 - Koewacht
This Air Observation Tower was built in 1952. The tower was one in a network of 276. The towers were used to spot enemy aircraft that were flying below the radar in the Cold War era. The tower became obsolete in 1964. This example is one of only 19 Air Observation Towers that survive.
