In the municipal cemetery is a massive monument in blue stone commemorating the victims of Rance.
It is a work of architect-sculptor Robert Baily.
It represents a soldier holding a weapon in his hand.
On the base of the monument are the names of the fallen soldiers, the deportees and the civilian victims.
