War Monument Air Raid Haaksbergen
A week before the liberation, a major mistake bombardment by Allied bombers took place in Haaksbergen, which resulted in 57 fatalities and more than 200 houses were seriously damaged or destroyed. This impressive event is commemorated with a memorial on the Brink, in Haaksbergen.
