Kindley Airstrip

Kindley Airstrip (named after an USAAC aviator) from 20's was part of Fort Mills on Corregidor. The airstrip was defended by Company A 4th Marines until its fall on May 5, 1942.

Stationed units:
1920-1922: 17th Balloon Company
1920-1929: 2nd Observation Squadron

After the Japanese capture of Corregidor, 92nd Garage (a hangar at the airport) was used for the temporary internment of American prisoners of war.
