The first plaque commemorates all soldiers who fell during the Italy campaign. The monument was inaugurated on June 4, 1984, the day of the 40th anniversary of the capture of Rome.
The second plaque was erected by the partisans of Lazio in memory of their fallen comrades and soldiers during the reconquest of Italy. The monument was inaugurated in September 1947.
The third plaque was erected by the Italian government in memory of the sacrifices made by those who fell for the reconquest of Italy and the civilians who fell at the Battle of Rome. The monument was inaugurated on March 24, 1980.
The fourth plaque commemorates the women of Rome who died during the Battle of Rome, who at the risk of their own lives helped care for the wounded, salvage the dead and comforted those who were dying. The monument was inaugurated on September 9, 1990.
