Monument "Sobibor - and what will you do"

Artwork at entrance Vondelpark.
This work of art, consisting of a mirror and a plaque at the entrance to Van Eeghenstraat, reminds visitors of the Vondelpark how small steps in World War II led to the persecution of the Jews and the concentration camps.

The statement "Sobibor started in the Vondelpark" comes from Willem-Alexander's speech during the National Remembrance Day on Dam Square in 2020. The designer is Niels van Deuren.
